Well-known as the region’s largest affordable retail art fair, World Art Dubai, returns for its fifth edition – bigger and better from 3 – 6 April 2019 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

World Art Dubai has extended its accessible programme of features for its landmark fifth edition. The show offers a collection of 150 galleries and artists from over 30 countries displaying over 3,000 pieces. These include abstract paintings, fluid painting, cubism art, mixed media and sculptures ranging from $100 onwards.

This event has recently invited a number of renowned international and Emirati artists to cover all tastes, from speed painting to calligraphy. This year will also see the inaugural Emerging Artists Competition and Exhibition held in collaboration with Rove Hotels. Artislts from ages 18 and above have been shortlisted to showcase selected pieces at Rove Hotels across town with ten artists invited to display at World Art Dubai’s new feature, Rove Cafe.

Visitors

can see renowned international artists exhibit at this year’s show, including Marcin Rogal from Poland, who is better known as MrArtPride, and Spain’s multi-award-winning August Vilella. Local creators will be on display, such as speed painter Victor Sitali and Emirati calli-graffiti artist Dia’a Allam.

As a part of Dubai’s Official Art Season, World Art Dubai reproduces the city’s growing prominence as a leading cultural and artistic hub with a unique fusion of art, education and entertainment featuring a diverse collection of contemporary art work, paintings, prints, sculptures, photographs and media ranging from $100 to $20,000. New for this edition, Exhibition Islam is dedicated exclusivity to contemporary works inspired by the Middle East cultural traditions.

Visitors will be able to explore the history, cultures, and art of the Middle East from the past, present, and future.

Art exhibitions, both internationally and locally have been the most important point for acquiring new buyers, which is the largest concern of art dealers and galleries reporting to annual survey.
