Al fresco dining with a trip outdoor Arabic restaurant Sehr Al Bahar is great. This is the JBR hotel’s pool bar that is Deck’s brightly-patterned low couches that become JA Ocean View’s Arabic dining destination. Sehr Al Bahar is impressive at night, with warm breezes swaying hanging lamps and tempting scents from the outdoor grill. The set menu is an enjoyable way to enjoy everything Sehr has to offer. Server bears a huge platter of dishes through the palm trees to the table. The team is happy to make some suggestions that happily all turn out well.
With pink beetroot moutabal there is an interesting twist on the traditional Arabic dip, marinated prawns are big and well-spiced with medium spice. They also serve makdoos – pickled eggplants stuffed with walnuts. Hot earthenware bowls of grilled halloumi with rocca dressing and makanek sausages grilled with lemon juice are delightful and well-flavoured. Sehr’s chefs serve a platter of lamb chops, lamb kofta, beef skewers, chicken tikka and shish taouk is all juicy and perfectly cooked. They refresh taste-buds with a platter of fresh melon and pineapple.
Entertainment at Sehr Al Bahar should not be missed. Located on the 3rd floor of JA Ocean View Hotel at Jumeirah Beach Residence is the hidden gem-Sehr Al Bahar. It is an al fresco restaurant and lounge. Sehr Al Bahar is ideal for authentic Arabic food and fresh grills, good selection of Shisha and live entertainment under the stars. Getting to Sehr Al Bahar
was easy as it is located in the prime area of JBR. JA Ocean View Hotel is a great place to unwind. The team offers a welcome drink, which is refreshing Mint Lemonade. Their drinks menu offers fresh juices, soft drinks, mocktails, cocktails and other spirits. They serve signature cocktails- Qasab and Persian Martini.
Diners can enjoy a nice meal and order Umm Ali for dessert which is served warm. Umm Ali was creamy, soft and delicious. It is a perfect ending to their dinner. This Arabian experience at Sehr Al Bahar is great to unwind and relax in a gorgeous setting and is ideal place to indulge in the traditional Arabic cuisine.
