lovers, Groove on the Grass is back on September 23. The electronic music series will feature Simian Mobile Disco, Max Cooper, Josh Wink, Radio Slave, Clockwork & Avatism and The Element perform at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai. The music, fashion and food event begins at 17:00.
“This season of GOTG will once again welcome international artists from across the electronic music spectrum to Dubai, but will evolve even further. We are not focusing on the obvious, but instead opening the doors to the discovery of new sounds, experiences and people,” says organiser Deian Markov, the managing director of The Artist Network.
Groove
on the Grass is back, and this year promises to be better than ever. The UAE’s home-grown music and arts festival is all set to kick off on Friday September 28 for its seventh year, when UK electronica icons Orbital will take to the main stage at Emirates Golf Club. The group will be supported by UK DJ and producer James Zabiela and a special guest who is yet to be announced.
People can gather in the Green Arena, presenting house, techno and a lot more with artists Dewalta and Mike Shannon debuting their “Dewalta & Shannon” live show inside the venue’s Cosmic Forest Stage. Supporting them will be London DJ, East End Dubs, with another local support act to be announced soon. Till now, Groove on the Grass has introduced more than 100 UAE artists debuts during its six-season run – and the rest of the line-up will soon be announced.
Tickets
will be ready for sale on Wednesday September 5. Previous years the mega event was a sell-out, interested people must get it in time.
