Arabian Tea House

The homegrown Arabian Tea House concept was started in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, once known as Al Bastakiya. Opened in 1997 by an Emirati called Ali Al Rais, this location is an icon to those in the know and has been proudly serving its customers including a few well-known celebrities for over two decades.

Showcasing epic views of the Burj Al Arab and bustling Jumeriah Road from the little outside seating terrace, Arabian Tea House is the ideal place in the city.

Opened in 1997, the place remains to be an oasis of peace and calm where tourists and locals come to journey back to the city’s past and explore its cultural heritage. Dubai Tourism cites the tea house as a cultural reference point and recently both the Michelin-starred culinary expert and author Geoffrey Zakarian and TV star Martha Stewart visited the tea house, they have shared praises in their blogs and social media platforms.

As Dubai is growing, the Arabian tea house has moved beyond Al Fahidi, opened new branches in UAE- Sharjah, The Mall Jumeirah, Jumeirah Archaeological Site, one branch in Egypt – Dubai House and one branch in Montenegro .
