The International Kite Fest is

back for another year at one of the most popular beach-side venue Al Mamzar Park. Visitors can get to watch a colourful variety of kites as they take to the skies or fly your own with pride to be in with a chance to win a special competition on the day. Along with all the kite-flying fun there will be kite-making workshops for little ones, free face painting, henna and more.

Music from DJ’s will add to the lively atmosphere and there will be plenty of activities to keep all the family entertained. A picnic for the day, people can also get to grab a delicious bite from one of the many food stalls set up especially for the event. Visitors can witness a splendid showcase of hundreds of kites and kite flyers from all over the world. The Kite Fest is going to present the outdoor spirit of Dubai with bright and creative kites in various colours, designs and patterns soaring across the sky offering families a visual treat like no other. This event is free to the public.

Jumeirah Beach will come

alive with the unparalleled enthusiasm of one-of-its-kind Beach Festival in Dubai, that unites the multinational community in a colourful, action-packed spectacle. Supported by the International Kite Flying Association (USA) & Dubai Festival & Retail Establishment (DFRE), the colourful aerial showcase will be marked by, Sports Kite Flying Championship, Synchronized Kite Flying, Kite Surfing, Kite Buggying, Kite Boarding and Night Kite Flying, that will attract many to the beach side to see the twinkling floating lights.

First edition of the “Dubai International Kite Fest”, recorded an over whelming turnout of over 60,000 Multinational people, of all Age Groups, mostly families. They were treated to the sheer merriment and excitement of Kite Flying, with 83 expert Kite Enthusiasts from 25 countries all over the world. Guinness World Record of 15,000 people flying Kites simultaneously at 15 different locations (schools) across Dubai was also attempted during the festival.

The thrill and excitement of the mega event will enhance with 

the Carnival mood on ground with Kite Making Workshops, Children’s Play area, Food Courts along with Music & Dance performances is only going to get better this year.

The event was special with the gracious presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, who toured the festival and saw all arrangements.
