Moombai & Co. Café and Bar is where 1950’s Mumbai blends with modern day Dubai. This reveals the legacy of traditional Irani-Parsi cafes which flourished. The space is generally jam-packed, famous as a “modern Parsi café, Moobai features all of favourite Indian dishes, the menu is packed with fresh and authentic dishes. The staff is helpful and friendly, they are knowledgeable about the extensive menu, people have many choices dining here. The team serves the traditional street food such as pao
bhaji – buttered bread buns with a serving of a vegetable curry. Diners eagerly wait for the flavoursome curry and relish it with the buns. The delicious treats such as generous portion of tareli kolmi (Parsi fried prawns) are flavoursome and highly spiced, too. Dishes are substantial and the mains are exceptional with bhuna gosht served with a rich gravy with tender chunks of lamb falling apart. The team pair it with a chicken berry biryani. This unique eatery continues to maintain the legacy of 1950s Parsi cafés and the décor is a reflection of the old school charm with ceiling fans, exposed brick and a kitsch with cool memorabilia from Mumbai.
