Beach Hotel is reopening this weekend (Friday October 19) after a five-month refurbishment, and it’s fabulous.
It was closed back in May for a “makeover” refurbishment of guest bedrooms and suites as well as public areas and restaurants. But now the popular family-friendly hotel is returning with an all new sophisticated and bold new look inspired by sea, sand and nature following its 20th anniversary in 2017. The hotel is chic, styled in a contemporary way, with white gold and blue accents all over.
The Jumeirah Beach Hotel lobby atrium offers stunning views of the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah and has been made lighter and airier and is inspired by silhouettes of clouds floating on the water and rock formations. Three art installations hanging above the lobby, which according to Jumeirah recreate the “movements of underwater creatures, the glistening of light on water and the glow of the sun”.
All the guest rooms and suites offer views of the
Burj Al Arab and have been equipped with HYPNOS beds for a restful night’s sleep. The hotel’s restaurants are also revamped, including D&A, La Parilla and Uptown Bar all looking new and polished. Family dining destination Kitchen Connection offers nine interactive cooking stations for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while Palm Court has become Pearl Lounge, serving gourmet sandwiches, tartines and a pearl-inspired afternoon tea. The hotel’s main family pool has had its swim-up bar expanded, while guests can still enjoy unlimited access to Wild Wadi Waterpark.
