Global Village announces safety guidelines ahead of new season opening

The Dubai park will open on Sunday October 25. Dubai’s Global Village is reopening next week (Sunday October 25) and it has put out health and safety guidelines for those visiting the famed attraction. Guests are required to wear their face masks at all times, and should maintain a minimum of two-metre physical distancing from others.

Any individual experiencing symptoms such as coughing or fever should avoid visiting the park. Aged guests and those with chronic conditions are advised to avoid crowded areas during the visit. Global Village is also taking safety precautions. Thermal cameras are installed at all entry points, while more than 600 hand sanitiser stations are installed around the park. Wheelchairs and shopping trolleys will be sanitised after every use, while restaurants are required to follow physical distancing guidelines and disinfect tables and chairs after every use. All kiosk utensils will be sanitised after every use, and a dedicated seating area for guests will be available in front of the main stage to ensure physical distancing is maintained. All common areas and touch points will be frequently sterilised will contactless payment will be available.

Free face masks will be provided for kids, and carnival rides and games will operate at reduced capacity and will be sanitised after every use. Prayer rooms will only open during prayer hours and will be prepared and sanitised after every prayer time, valet parking will not be available. Park facilities will be disinfected thoroughly every night.

Global Village is celebrating its silver jubilee in 2020, and it has also announced that bus services will run again this year. Deluxe coaches will be laid on for visitors this season. The four routes are Route 102 from Rashidiya Metro Station, Route 103 from Union Metro Station, Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, and Route 106 from Mall of Emirates Metro Station.

Global Village is located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road Exit 37 and Monday is a Family Day [Except Public Holidays].
