When “business-as-usual” is faced by the world confronted by an unexpected reality. The Virtual Youth Majlis Series explores the potential of the new normal, urging decision and policy makers to transform the status quo with a focus on green thinking.
This session on 8 July highlights the changes in our lifestyles, asking the question about keeping the balance in relation to our traditions and keeping it alive in the modern era while protecting the environment? The conversation explores many ways to preserve our culture, heritage and natural resources for the coming generations.
Tune in to listen to HE Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, who will lead this session. Participants who attend more than five of all the Virtual Youth Majlis sessions will receive an official certification on behalf of Connect with Nature as well as partnering organisations like Emirates Nature-WWF and the International Fund for Houbara Conservation.
Join a movement by young changemakers who love and appreciate nature and want to protect it while taking fun to the next level! Founded on 12th January 2019, the categories include education for environmental conservation organization.
Connect With Nature is a fun and interactive voyage created to educate and inspire the UAE youth to re-connect with their sense of adventure and uphold the legacy of past generations. Following the steps of the late Sheikh Zayed, as they create a new community of environmentalists who like him sees conservation as “an integral part of our country, our history, and our heritage.”
Everyone is welcome to explore the UAE through one-of-a-kind experiences in nature, thrilling adventures, awe-inspiring heritage, fascinating technology & innovation, and enchanting creativity.
