The UAE telecom giant etisalat has made a statement that its second-quarter revenues are higher than 20 per cent as compared to last year.
Etisalat revealed its strong results as the revenues throughout its business increased to just under Dhs9.9 billion for the three months until the end of June ¬ up by 20 per cent from the same period last year and 3 per cent for the first three months of 2013.
The UAE maintains its demands for business to add up and provide the maximum of the firm’s revenues, accounting for Dhs6.3 billion for the quarter ¬ around two-thirds of the firm’s wide-ranging revenues. The company has noticed that the growth in income was also due to an increase in the revenues from data and handsets sales. Profits from the group’s international sales were raised by 50 per cent to Dhs3.5 billion, or 36 per cent of total revenues.
