The Salad Jar was started by Danielle in July 2015. Danielle prepared combinations and made salads for friends and family in her kitchen. What started as a passion for healthy and wholesome food has now transformed and blossomed into The Salad Jar. Salad Jar was acquired by KRUSH Brands in October 2019. The company shares the ethos for connecting more people with nutritious food, KRUSH Brands continues the Salad Jar mission to make it fun, easy and convenient to eat healthy food. Salad Jar has since relaunched as of March 2020 and is now delivering fast, fresh and safe from locations in Dubai Marina, Studio City and Downtown. They are soon going to open branches in Al Barsha, Silicon Oasis and Khalidiyah.

Those the salad jarfans of The Salad Jar who may have been missing the delicious delivery service in the past couple of months can avail the offers now. Popular healthy food delivery service Salad Jar is “relaunching in phases” and is now delivering all around Dubai, with plans to launch into Sharjah soon too. The salad, in a jar is simple, but tasty, jars come layered up with rainbow colours and just by shaking it up it is ready to eat. The Salad Jar website and app also lists all nutritional information, from calories to protein, salt and sugar content too, so one can keep track of what they’re eating. Jars include Mango Tango, stacked to the brim with brightly coloured veg including cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado and red pepper as well as chickpeas, mango and feta.

The Medthe salad jar is made with chickpeas, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, cherry tomatoes, kale, cucumber, grapes and feta with a lemony hummus vinaigrette, while Sweet Beet has halloumi, pomegranate, cucumber, beets, barley, dates, spinach, chickpeas and balsamic dressing. The Mex has black and white beans, tomatoes, red pepper, pineapple, corn, red onion, red chillies, avocado and more. There are vegan versions of the jars, plus ones with chicken. Not just salads, those looking for a snack can look for a range of energy balls including salted caramel bliss balls made with almonds, dates, coconut, cacao nibs and coconut cream, or wild orange truffle bliss balls. If you are a vegan and are interested in a sweet options there’s a selection of plant-based desserts to check out too including Mango Pasho Cheesecake made with cashews, almonds, coconut, dates, mango, passionfruit and agave, as well as Rawnuts Chocolate Donut and a vanilla ice cream sandwich.
