This “underground nightclub”,is located aboard a luxury vessel. The Hatch – a pop-up club located in the engine room that is seven metres underwater in the historic Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise ship is a floating hotel in Deira.
Unlikely location aside, guests will find one of Dubai’s coolest underground spots with limelight on house, techno and electronic music at this club. One has to make their way down the stairs to the narrow space there’s raw and industrial feel to the passage. Party goers can expect a lot of cool stuff at this pub. Lots of attractions, the nightlife scene here in The Hatch is edgy, those on the lookout for luxurious secluded VIP areas and plush treats must head to one of Dubai’s clubs on the weekend instead. The main focus at The Hatch is the music and the venue is now home to well-established events such as Deep Like and Plus Minus, along with a series of pop-up events and DJ nights featuring a roster of top talent. It’s a non-smoking venue (with designated smoking areas) which is always great feature for guests. Entrance ranges from Dhs50 to Dhs100, and for some nights it’s even free, but make sure to pre-book in advance via the website – due to the compact space there’s limited availability. Those who enjoy house and techno music, this is one of the most authentic underground experiences in Dubai. The Hatch allows guests to dance, let loose and let go of all pretentions at the entrance.
A legend of the sea, The Queen Elizabeth 2 is a famous floating entertainment, heritage and hotel destination famed for its storied past from the 1960s.
