Amsterdam-born Asian restaurant Taiko Dubai is offering up the exotic flavours and textures of the Far East.
Famous as one of Amsterdam’s more popular concepts, Taiko is found inside the Conservatorium hotel, housed in an old music school. Chef Schilo Van Coevorden’s Asian-inspired restaurant; slated to open within the Sofitel Dubai Wafi that is connected to the Wafi Mall.
Taiko serves contemporary Asian cuisine prepared with seasonal produce. Diners can expect explosive yet delicate Asian flavours matched with a striking backdrop – think minimalist-chic with dark lighting and modern furniture.
Taking 
inspiration from different cuisines, van Coevorden creates an exceptional fusion of Asian and world classics. Dine on signature salmon and tuna sashimi and beef from the Bincho-tan grill, along with traditional dim sum and succulent Wagyu beef.
