The Swim Burj Al Arab is here and the thrilling swim race around one of the UAE’s most iconic landmarks has become the Dubai calendar for both families and competitive swimmers of all ages, teams and individuals. Participants from all over the world participate in the 800m and now additionally a 1600m (New for 2014) swim organised by Wild Wadi in aid of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
Wild Wadi’s Swim Burj al Arab has announced a longer 1600m competitive swim will take place alongside the usual 800m social swim.
Last year, the organizers witnessed over 600 participants who swam either as individuals or as teams, and raised more than AED 200,000 in support of MSF. Participants can come and swim, organize sponsors and take the next Wild Wadi Swim Burj al Arab the best and successful event. Funds raised through this Swim Burj Al Arab are used by MSF to provide medical aid to those most in need around the world.
