Suvoroff – the Russian restaurant was opened in Murjan Cluster of Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) in September 2008 and soon gained popularity amongst Russian and former USSR citizens residing and visiting Dubai as well as West Europeans and Arabs.

The restaurant seems to be packed with Russians, making it a great option for Russian fare. The interiors are decorated with memorabilia from the country (including a massive freestanding bear), Suvoroff has a very kitsch setting and feel to it.
The menu served is extensive, stuffed with all the classics such as stroganoff, blinis and borsch. The Golubtsy (minced veal wrapped in cabbage) gives a homely and is very comforting feel; whereas the roast duck with stewed apples on the nearby couple’s plate is on one of the visits. They also have a take-away menu, and is more extensive than if you decide to dine in. The staff can speak in Russian and English, but if you are unfamiliar with 
Russian food, it is better to take suggestions to know exactly what some dishes consist of, so you can get a little adventurous.

Dress code here is casuals and the restaurant welcomes large gatherings and is family friendly. They serve Halal meat and also have outdoor seating for those who prefer to dine in the open with some fresh air.
