Social Distrikt is a managed experiential food and bar hall conceptualized by Limestone Lab, the recently-launched hospitality group founded by Dubai’s entrepreneurs Hassan Ballout and Hani Doueik. It’s popularly known as the urban food hall experience that diners will pick out from the crowd when seeking the right environment for a good talk. Whether the guests seek a contemplative moment on the greenhouse terrace, meet up with a person for a cup of their favourite brew at the coffee lounge, or look for recreational pastimes at the interactive space, Social District has it all.
The 20,000 ft space, which seats 600 guests and 1200 guests at full capacity, spans The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah. The venue offers diners the chance to indulge in multiple distinct cuisines under one roof whilst unwinding with punchy house beverages. 
Visitors can’t ignore the radiant vibes of the grape gardens, gastro bars, dining lounges, social spaces, entertainment corners, culinary workshop areas and a large outdoor terrace with front row seats to The iconic Palm Fountain. According to an article, Social Distrikt houses a melting pot of F&B concepts, including Pinsanity, Couqley, Ichiban Sushi, Zaroob, Circle Cafe, Rock House Sliders, Japang and more. These ‘open-kitchen’ concepts feature a not-so-typical ordering experience, where diners place their orders through an application and have their meals delivered straight to their tables.
In an interview, Hassan Ballout, the co-founder of Limestone Lab, said, “We are proud to be uniting these already established [food and beverage] brands at Social Distrikt to allow us to create a multisensory dining experience.” He added, “We want to create a network, especially for potential brand owners who want to get into a different market without spending much money.”

With ‘entertainment’ and ‘experiences’ at its core, the immersive dining hall has revealed its plans to launch various themed nights and events throughout the year. The 2022 pipeline features a variety of entertainment nights, events, and activations, from standup comedy, game nights, and sunset art workshops to brunches, movie nights, book clubs, and more. The venue will also soon act as a space for digital nomads to work quickly, with various accommodating packages soon to roll out.
