Offering many activities at Hatta Wadi Hub activity centre one can book one of the most unique overnight stays in the UAE. Sedr trailers resort allows clients to book one of the 13 shiny metal American-style airstream trailers and revel in the marvellous mountain scenery from the viewing deck.
It’s run by Meraas, there just had to be an on-site food truck, or fire up the barbie for some DIY dinner. Hatta is now home to the region’s first “trailer hotel”, visitors can camp along the banks of Hatta Dam in luxurious trailers. Visitors can leave their car with the reception and the team will transport to their Sedr trailers nestled in the mountains. All trailers are on a first come, first served basis. Once inside, guests can avail the amenities are hotel standard like modern bathrooms, Wi-Fi, TV and comfy bedding. But no five-star frills. It’s about all the five-star thrills instead.
The first addition to Hatta’s tourism landscape is enormous ‘Hatta’ letters positioned at an elevation of around 450 metres up in the Hajar Mountains, which offer the picturesque town with its striking backdrop and represent the gateway to explore the area. An adventure centre and interactive tourism information destination is creating further links between visitors, tour guides and the people of Hatta. Their trailers can accommodate two adults and two children under the age of eight.
