on Palm Jumeriah’s waterfront destination, The Pointe, Samakjé Restaurant & Lounge is a two-story space that combines Levantine and Mediterranean influences to serve the freshest fish.
Offering a display counter packed with fresh fish choices, a variety of options for mezze and main courses, and lots of excitement from the food to the views, licensed bar, sheesha and backgammon.
Samakjé translates as “fish expert” in Arabic, and features a menu packed with seafood dishes, there’s also a fresh fish market-style counter to pick your catch of the day. There is a fishmaster on hand to give advice on cooking styles and accompaniments too. The lavish menu has inventive dishes such as truffle labneh dip, fish tagine and lobster kibbeh. Desserts include a lemon curd labneh cheesecake, chocolate mousse pastille and more.
Samakjé 
Restaurant & Lounge is set on the east side of The Pointe, and has front-row views of the magnificent Palm Fountain thanks to its spacious outdoor terrace. It’s set over two floors and is open seven days a week.
Inside the seafood restaurant, the setting is bright and vibrant with shades of whites, blues and greens with mirrors, dark wood, retro mosaics and more. Clients can have a peaceful yet fun time at this seaside setting. The Palm Fountain is going to have five shows a night from 19:00 until midnight, so visit to catch a record breaker. Samakjé also serves shisha, as well as having a licensed bar. A great place for seafood-lovers.
