The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU) is inviting the public for its annual workshop on the Holy month of Ramadan.
All through this event, visitors can ask questions and clear all doubts. Queries on the practices, history and rules of Ramadan will be taken up.
The event is being organized to help visitors and residents of Dubai understand its history, culture and heritage, the SMCCU encourages Muslims and non-Muslims alike to attend this event.
The event will be held at the Jumeirah Majlis, next to the Jumeirah Mosque.
Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding is conducting its annual free workshop “Ramadan 101” and the the lecture will be held on Monday the 15th June at 19:15, in the Jumeirah Majlis, adjacent to the Jumeirah Mosque on Jumeirah Beach Road.
The program will be followed by a Q & A session.
The lecture series will include an explanation of the traditions during Ramadan, the do’s and don’ts while fasting and how Muslims and non Muslims living and visiting Dubai can make the most out of this month.
The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding teaches the UAE’s rich culture and history, and believes in encouraging young and old alike to enrich their knowledge about the local culture, traditions and religion. The lecture is free and open to the public. Parking is available at THE ONE parking lot adjacent to the mosque.
