The third edition of the one-of-a-kind arts festival is back in Al Quoz. Check out the remarkable Dubai art scene at the festival. Come witness the talent centered around live art, murals, workshops, gallery openings, film screenings and live music.
Get set for a jam-packed day full of stimulating art, inspirational design, beautiful music and varied films. The Al Qouz Art Festival makes its way back to Dubai, and is attracting a lot of art enthusiasts.
The community-based event is back with an expanded programme covering a wide range of fields, across 45 creative spaces in Al Quoz’s arts district.
Be a part of the local arts scene at this free for all day-long event, and experience some of the most exciting artworks take shape.
The interesting line-up for this year will also include a lavish street food market.
The festival first began in 2012, and has since then turned out to be one of the most popular art events on the annual Dubai calendar.
The festival provides a fantastic platform for local art talent, and gives visitors the opportunity to discover the art scene. Visitors can enjoy any of the galleries, artists, and mingle with like-minded culture enthusiasts.

As part of the ISEA2014 programming, Electricity is Magic present a multi-dimensional, gesture-controlled interface exploring the interconnected physical and temporal regions of mapped sound.

PAPER CUT WORKSHOP
As part of the programming surrounding her exhibition, ‘Simorgh’, Yasmin Sinai invites participants to take part in a collective art installation project by creating a unique mythical bird from discarded paper.

CHILDREN’S PAINTING WORKSHOP
Specifically designed for children aged 4 – 12 years, this workshop encourages creative discovery through a tour of the current exhibition by Adel Tharwat followed by a practical painting session.

GUIDED TOURS OF EXHIBITION
THE THIRD LINE
The Third Line team will conduct a tour of ‘The Return Project’ by Babak Golkar in the main gallery space, and ‘The World is Sinking’ by Farah Al Qasimi in the Project Space.

TOUR OF GALLERIES BY WAEL HATTAR – START AT A4 SPACE
Founder of the Young Collectors Collective and radio host, Wael Hattar, leads a tour of various galleries in Al Quoz from 14:00 – 17:00.
All day long in Alserkal Avenue:
Gallery directors, curators and artists will be on hand in each space, including Carbon 12 Dubai, Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde, Grey Noise, Lawrie Shabibi, Salsali Private Museum, and more.
