Miss Lily’s

Miss Lily’s

is the celebrated Caribbean oasis with two famous locations in the heart of downtown New York City, and an international outpost in Dubai.

Miss Lily’s family includes a vibrant Jamaican style Diner & Juice Bar and a Caribbean Rum Bar & Jerk Shack. The island influences can be seen at Miss Lily’s through its modern approach to classic Jamaican cooking, appealing and cool-as-can-be staff, and bright and colorful atmosphere.

The Miss Lily’s culinary team is led by Executive Chef Adam Schop, a New York native who previously led the kitchens at Nuela in NYC and Le Diplomat in Washington, DC.

Adam Schop has more than two decades of culinary experience under his belt and a long-standing passion for international cuisine, evident in his fresh, creative take on Jamaican fare. Along with Miss Lily’s Schop overseas the culinary teams at their sister properties, the Rockhouse Hotel and Pushcart restaurant in Jamaica. Taking influences the diverse roots of Jamaican cuisine, the menus offer modern renditions of island specialties like jerk chicken, escovitch fish, oxtail and curried goat – seasoned with scotch bonnet peppers and fiery jerk spices. In short, Miss Lily’s is an island vacation in the middle of a busy cosmopolitan city.

As the Jamaican saying goes, “Betta belly buss dan good food waste.” Which means, it’s better to overeat than to waste good food. Miss Lily’s opened their first international outpost inside Dubai’s Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road in 2016,

bringing their highly celebrated Caribbean cuisine and sunny vibes to the Middle East for the first time. Executive Chef Adam Schop has curated a menu that draws from the diverse roots of Jamaican cuisine featuring signature Miss Lily’s dishes like Jerk Chicken, Oxtail Stew, Grilled Jerk Corn, Jerk Ramen and more. Chef Schop has created many dishes that are exclusive to the Dubai outpost including Pimento & Tamarind Glazed Lamb Ribs, Chili King Crab and Slow Roasted Pimento Short Rib. The New York-born Jamaican eatery, Dubai’s latest hot spot, opened recently to great success.

Miss Lily’s gives an 80s-style Jamaican diner vibe with black-and-blue linoleum checkerboard floors and walls adorned with Jamaican vinyl record covers.

The multicolored disco ball, a custom-built Jamaican speaker stack, and walls lined with ‘Scotch Bonnet’ hot sauce are all impressive. Their wall décor to the record-shaped tables, music is an integral part of the Miss Lily’s theme. Music and brunches are very popular with the best ska and reggae tunes in town. For a more exclusive experience than what the dining room and lounge areas offer, one can book the Chef’s Table for dinner. Secluded, it seats up to 16 people and is located just off the kitchen. Providing the element of privacy, direct interaction with the chef, and cool décor are just three of its many perks.

Miss Lily’s sibling juice bar, Melvin’s Juice Box launched at this unique location after the summers provide the perfect healthy counterpart to some of the menu’s more decadent dishes. Diners can stop by for lunch to enjoy organic cold-pressed juices, salads, and healthy bowls courtesy of Melvin Major Jr, one of the most famous faces on New York City’s organic juice scene. The Desserts include banana mousse with meringue, fried banana, and brown butter is reason enough to book a table.
