This necessitates a place where children are cared for and their minds stimulated. Kids Kare Nursery – Preschool staff are presented regular opportunities for professional training and development. Under the KHDA regulations, all centre staff with the exception of our dedicated teaching assistants and administration personnel are required to have,
or be studying towards, a Certificate III in Children’s Services.
Transitioning to ‘big school’ is an important time in a child’s life – and the lives for parents. The team focusus on making this transition as smooth as possible, and gives every child essential skills to assist them enter school with confidence. The also aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning in children. This is a crucial time in a child’s life, he or she is interested in exploring new friendships, learning to make decisions, and becoming more conscious of his or her own exceptional talents and abilities. This is the reason that their nursery – preschool experience is going to lay an important foundation for their future. Offering a stimulating and nurturing environment is vitally essential.
The staff at Kids Kare Nursery has regular termly parents meetings. Children receive their own personal assessment record which is updated on a regular
bases and taken with them when they move on from nursery to show their learning and developmental progress. Parents are regularly consulted in all aspects of nursery schedule through regular reviews and questionnaires. Teachers are available by telephone and email for working parents who are not able to pick up and drop off parents. The team also provides communication books where necessary. Teachers have regular dialogue with parents regarding their children at drop off and pick up time.
