Peyote’s tacos de res served with braised-beef short ribs, salsa tatemada and cilantro cress are great. Tacos el pastor has roasted chicken adobo, pineapple pico de gallo, lime and cilantro which is delicious. The cactus salad is one of the highlights here. Cactus served has the texture of green pepper and with earthy flavour, it is served with a tangy Mexican cheese, queso fresco, that a good combination. The cheese is delicious in the sweetcorn salad that can be paired with the piece of sea bass. Diners order guacamole, delightful prawns in ceviche that are exceptional with lime marinade. The short rib tacos are great too. For dessert diners can order traditional churros with cajeta and chocolate sauce, Arroz Con Leche which is a rice pudding, with fig compote and date ice cream.
