The famous Namu steamed bun comes wrapped with Wagyu short ribs dressed in ssam jang sauce (a spicy gravy used to dress grilled meat in Korean cuisine) and white kimchi – which is cabbage seasoned in a hot sauce. A genius interpretation of the traditional steamed bun are soft and steamed, giving a nostalgic feel – similar to the memories of steamed pork buns served in Singapore. The dish is presented in an attractive traditional steam rattan basket. The recommended dessert includes – Japanese mochi – which is three mochis – coconut, vanilla and chocolate flavours – divided into half and served with a single Japanese daisy.
