|Location||Built in and around the Nad Al Sheba racetrack, notably used for the Dubai World Cup.
Situated 10 minutes from town.
|Facilities||Facilities include a 100-seat steak house, which overlooks the racetrack, pro shop, bar and and driving range.Nad al Sheba Golf Club has the Middle East’s only fully floodlit 18 hole championship course.
Equipment for hire : electric carts / trolleys / golf clubs / shoes.
Also has a range of leisure and dining facilities, including golfing, horseracing, dining or socialising.
|Description||Designed in the classic Scottish links style with eight lakes and more than 110 deep pot bunkers (reminiscent of St.Andrews with double greens and deep bunkers) . The emphasis is more on accuracy than length, and whilst you may find this to be slightly less demanding than the other courses it will certainly test the full range of golfing skills.Elevated tees on the back nine provide a great view of this beautiful course. The treeless landscape means that the rolling fairways are unprotected from prevailing gulf winds, however you may welcome the chance to play under the floodlights in the evening when the temperature is a little cooler.
The 18-hole desert grass course is the result of a supply of 1 million litres of water per night after play has concluded.
Nad Al Sheeba Club is also the home of horse racing in Dubai. The season runs from November to April.
In March 2000, it was the venue for the US$6 million Dubai World Cup horse race, won by Dubai Millennium.
