Abu Dhabi 
has plenty of lush green spaces and parks where residents can relax and enjoy the weather, get to exercise or just spend time on the lawns. Most of the parks offer free entry and have plenty of facilities to keep both children and adults entertained.
Mussafah Park on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street is also known as the ‘Picnic Area,’ Mussafah Park is a great spot in Abu Dhabi for all to get together. Developed in 2002 by the Abu Dhabi Municipality and has been a welcome addition for residents living in neighbouring areas such as Zayed Sports City. While the massive park is named after the mixed-purpose area of Mussafah, this very well-known neighbourhood is located almost 15-20 minutes away from the park. The lush green park is set closer to the main island and Offering beach views and facilities for sports lovers in the neighbourhood.
There
are several activities that visitors can enjoy at the park. Visitors can enjoy a walk or enjoy a walk or go out to jog at the park. There are paved concrete jogging tracks where you can get a good cardio workout. The park also has concrete exercise zones and colourful wooden climbing frames in a huge sandpit where you can get your daily dose of exercise. The kids play area at Mussafah Park is also a dedicated area at the park where they can burn their energy and take a break in the shaded seating areas.
Musaffah Public Park is especially popular for its exceptional sports facilities
, it has four basketball courts where players of all ages can engage in friendly games. The park has a tennis court, which serves as the home court to Abu Dhabi Tenistang Pinoy (ATP) Club. The club organises games, matches on regular basis. They provide breakfast gatherings and other exciting events every morning on Friday, Saturday and on holidays. Tennis match underway at Mussafah Park as the weather gets cooler, visitors can head to Mussafah Public Park for a BBQ. Designated barbecue pits near the beautiful Al Bateen Beach make Mussafah Park one the best places to have a BBQ in Abu Dhabi. Not to forget to keep the area clean and accommodate other people who want to use the pits.
The 
shaded sea face at Mussafah Park also offers access to Al Bateen Beach, where you can the sights and sounds of the water. Fishing is strictly prohibited at the beach. The park provides plenty of parking space at Mussafah. This public park has several facilities including bathrooms. The shaded seating areas in the park and along the beach also has a cafe. The park is located on the exit of Hudariyat Island to the west, between Zayed Sports City and Army Officers Club on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street. The park is open 24-hours, throughout the week.
There is free entry and parking at the park. Visitors do have to pay AED 2 per person to use the toilet.
