Everyone can get a chance to host a big dinner and hope to entertain guests with cooking skills. Restaurants at Atlantis, The Palm are all set to offer their knowledge. During its third edition of the ‘Culinary Month’, Dubai’s iconic resort will feature a week of cooking masterclasses. The chefs are waiting to offer the art of Italian, Lebanese and Japanese cooking.
Scheduled to take place from Sunday November 17 until Saturday November 23, restaurants Ronda Locatelli, Ayamna and Nobu will host sessions from 16:00 until 18:00, and all those that take part will get a 25 percent discount on dinner after the class.
Those looking to master the art of pizza and pasta making the traditional Italian way, Ronda Locatelli is your choice. Sharing their knowledge with amateur cooks, they will teach how to make Italian dough classic tomato sauce and pasta from scratch. The chefs will also show the tricks and skill of cooking in a wood fired oven and making the perfect pizza. For Lebanese dishes, chef Ali from Ayamna will take cooks through the history of mezze and how to prepare its signature dishes traditionally. Right from a selection of mezze to a main course of kibbeh bil laban and umm ali dessert, the Lebanese restaurant will be offering its tricks of the trade. Japanese venue Nobu will guide students through the art of sushi rolling, using classic techniques the Nobu team has learnt from celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
The cooking session will cover how to cook and season rice offer tips on produce and where to source it, along with preparing fish and key details about its quality.
Each session will host up to ten guests, with masterclasses at Ronda Locatelli and Ayamna priced at Dhs350, with Nobu priced at Dhs600. Booking can be done by calling +971 04 426 2626.
