Hola amigos! Check out the exciting Spanish restaurant that’s opened in Tecom (Barsha Heights) area. Lola Taberna is named after the country’s most famous Flamenco dancer), is a neighbourhood restaurant that opened last year and has replaced Barbary in the Tryp by Wyndham.
Lola Taberna has a spacious main dining area that is accented with wooden shutters with a large painting of Lola adorns one wall as ham pieces hang on the other. Adding to the authenticity, it’s in a prime view display. The team serves simple, authentic tapas that is satisfying and taking care of all cravings for crispy burnt rice, sangria, and ham that tastes like acorns. Diners can relish green olives, a plate of slivers of Montaraz jamon, plump Iberico croquettes, along with a basket of bread tasting delicious with a glass of vermouth.
The tortilla de patatas is a Spanish omelette gives comfort and is excellent with ingredients such as potatoes, eggs, olive oil added into a dish ideal for all visiting Lola restaurant. Enjoy a perfect breakfast with tapas addition, too.
Try out paella as the team serves several versions to choose from including chicken, seafood, shell-free, and negra. Negra is a black paella with baby squid and aioli. It is served in a large skillet and dig in. Diners can scrape the sticky rice from the bottom of the pan, which is said to be the sign of a good paella. They serve churros that are served with a cup full of rich chocolate sauce. Tasty golden delights are crispy, chewy things.
Lola Taberna Española has opened for business in TRYP by Wyndham Barsha Heights, and ITP Media Group was one of the first to take a look.
Sunset Hospitality Group collaborated with The First Group for the opening, placing the Spanish tapas bar within the TRYP by Wyndham Barsha Heights hotel. Its location is a close to guests at nearby hotels including Byblos Hotel, First Central Hotel and TIME Oak Hotel & Suites.
