The Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is a newly-opened attraction in Khorfakkan, Sharjah. The unique destination was inaugurated by His Highness Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah. The Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is an open-air venue with a design that was inspired by a Roman amphitheatre. Apart from the beachfront amphitheatre, the venue is also home to a spell-binding man-made waterfall.
The spectacular Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is new iconic cultural landmark in Sharjah. The Khorfakkan beach-facing amphitheatre is located at the base of Al Sayed Mountain near Khorfakkan beach. Turning into a tourist attraction it is spread across an area of 190,000 sq. ft., this amphitheatre has the capacity to accommodate an audience over 3,600. The structure is semi-circular – the amphitheatre also features a stone façade with 295 columns and 234 arches. The detailed nature of the architecture is also fantastic.
Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is located in Rugaylat Road, Al Mudaifi, Sharjah. The spectacular architecture is impressive, the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre also offers its visitors a number of facilities. Khorfakkan Amphitheatre has a restaurant and cafe that offers a range of culinary delights. The seating facility is ideal for more than 80 diners at a time. The Cafe and Restaurant at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, Al Sayed Mountain, specialises in delicious food preparations.
To use the open-air venue and the technology used to keep it comfortable during the hotter months of the year, the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre has a state-of-the-art temperature control facility. The amphitheatre also has an futuristically-advanced sound and lighting system. The amphitheatre has an outdoor seating area with space for more than 30 people. The beach-facing amphitheatre provides impressive seafront views.
Khorfakkan Amphitheatre has two entrances and six elevators (three at each entry point) in the building. Visitors can use the meeting and service rooms at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre. The immense waterfall at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is a spectacular man-made attraction that is 45-metres long, 11-metres wide. The attraction is located adjacent to the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre and overlooks the Khorfakkan Corniche. The amphitheatre has windows that open towards the waterfall.
