by DubaiCity Author

INTI is one of Dubai’s newest Japanese-Peruvian dining destinations in The Dubai Edition Hotel.  With stunning views overlooking the glittering Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai District, It is an addition to many spectacular restaurants in Dubai. Moreover, the rooftop restaurant is set on the 23rd floor of the hotel with private access via elevator, was designed by renowned architect Lazaro Rosa Violan and boasted polished wooden elements adorned by luscious greenery throughout the venue. The space also features an exclusive wooden panel installation showcasing Inca scriptures that are trademarked and exclusive to the Dubai property.

The Story

According to its website, INTI transports guests to a Peruvian-inspired dining experience combined with Japanese flavours. The senses are taken on a voyage of discovery by culinary creativity and bold design. Inti, meaning “Sun”, is one of the most commonly used words in Quechua. The Incas worshipped the sun, and therefore, diners will see this word among many old temples and ruins. Inti has a solid connection to the Incan cultural heritage and identity because they believe the sun god to be their ancestor.

The Main Menu

Seafood is the star of the menu, including original & non-traditional ceviches. In addition,  diners should expect a variety of signature and non-traditional ceviche, including Hamachi accompanied by jalapeño Leche de Tigre; followed by a serving of Tuna tar-tar and truffle yuzu; and Tiraditos, sea bass dressed with maracuja and jalapeño. The culinary journey into Peru continues with the Bao featuring smoked brisket and Panca BBQ and Anticuchos of squid, corn or chicken. Moreover, the main course is simply mouth-watering dishes such as the Yakiniku, a 72-hour braised beef short rib topped with yakiniku sauce, or Cordero with succulent grilled lamb chops flavoured with togarashi and garnished with nori.
