The ICC Academy 
Development Course is a cricket summer camp for boys and girls aged 11-14 years old who are capable of playing with a hard ball. This course is designed by experts and delivered with cricket coaching, batting and bowling development sessions along with helpful video analysis sessions to give a holistic understanding of the game.
Sessions will be conducted inside the fully air-conditioned indoor facility at the ICC Academy and led by the centre’s specialist Level 3 professional coaching team. The two sessions of the course, with each one taking place over three consecutive days: Session 1: 29-31 July and Session 2: 7-9 August.
ICC Academy is a purpose-built high performance cricket centre located next to the ICC headquarters in the heart of Dubai Sports City. ICC Academy was designed and works as a strategic partnership between ICC and Dubai Sports City with the vision, ‘To Become and Remain the World’s Leading Cricket Development, High Performance and Education institute’.
Participants at the 
ICC Academy can expect the best facilities at the venue which includes: 2 floodlit ODI accredited ovals with Asian and Australian turf wickets, A 38 bay floodlit, outdoor practice facility with Australian, Asian, English and a variety of non-turf practice wickets, A 6 bay floodlit cricket cage, A purpose-built, indoor and outdoor strength and conditioning centre, ‘PowerBase’ with an adjacent Olympic swimming pool, and a state-of-the-art indoor centre including a 68m, 6 lane cricket centre, office and training spaces, retail outlets and ‘The Point’ bistro.
The ICC Academy mainly lays emphasis on three major area: International teams visit the ICC Academy International teams visit the ICC Academy, High Performance: to provide high-performance services to teams and players across coaching, sports science and analysis, as well as function as a high-performance training and competition venue. They work towards Cricket Development: to operate programmes, 
events, and services which support developmental pathways for cricket teams and players from the UAE and overseas from grassroots cricket to excellence including leagues, tournaments and extensive coaching programmes.
The venue is also available for private hire. They also provide education: to support the development and education of cricket coaches and administrators from grassroots cricket through to elite cricket with unique development programmes, courses and qualifications.
