Hanaaya – means happiness in Arabic, is an upbeat and sophisticated restaurant that offers food lovers a culinary world journey presenting live cooking stations with a mouth-watering combination of flavours and some locally sourced ingredients.
The bright and contemporary look of the restaurant is in Arabic design and presents a fresh and colourful, featuring turquoise shades, intricate local patterns and delicate accents of copper, silver and quality wood.
Hanaaya is located on the ground floor of Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, Madinat Jumeirah. Outdoor dining is in its striking terrace over the lagoon and the views to the sea is destined to make diners feel the happiness its name conveys. Hanaaya, the restaurant replaces Al Muna restaurant after a complete refurbishment of the venue. Hanaaya serves an array of international dishes in a lively setting filled with natural light. The restaurant has a new set of offerings, the seating overlooks the Madinat Jumeirah lagoon and turtle sanctuary – attracting many locals and tourists alike.
Dirk Haltenhof, resort executive chef at Madinat Jumeirah, says: “At Hanaaya, we take an interactive approach to dining that encourages guests to enjoy talking about great food with chefs that know and love the dishes they are preparing. This enables diners to make new flavour discoveries and engage with our chefs.”
The brunch at Mina A’Salam has also been revamped and now includes liquid nitrogen desserts. It will include new dishes from Hanaaya as well as food from neighbouring restaurant Tortuga.
