Fogo de Chão opened in DIFC earlier this year, and it’s the 51st location for the global brand that specialises in churrascaria-style dining.
Fogo de Chão showcases the centuries-old Southern Brazilian grilling technique of churrasco in Dubai’s sophisticated DIFC district, conveniently located near City Walk, Emirates Towers and Downtown Dubai. Upon entering the restaurant, guests have a panoramic view of the grand dining room, an expansive bar, a White Carrara marble Market Table, and an open kitchen highlighting Brazilian-trained gaucho chefs. The Middle East flagship location also offers the Fogo Bar and Lounge, complete with an extensive list of craft cocktails, elevated spirits and Brazilian bites, plus an outdoor courtyard and terrace shisha lounge boasting striking views of the Burj Khalifa.
The famous steakhouse, which originated in Brazil, has locations around the world including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Beverly Hills, Miami and Mexico City, so Dubai joins a list of prestigious destinations. The Dubai branch is nestled within the maze that is Central Park Towers.
The restaurant has huge wooden doors that swing open to reveal a sculpture of Antonio Caringi’s O Laçador, a historical monument in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It’s spectacular and impressive. The restaurant features dark oak tables adorned with white cloths. The staff are well dressed and the whole vibe is an exclusive one. There’s a big patio area for cooler months, centred around a water feature, and the views across the city are spell binding. The menu has different packages of meats for clients and they can select for a set price. The most indulgent of these is the Fogo Churrasco Experience includes unlimited cuts of ten kinds of meats, Brazilian side dishes and free access to the feijoada station and the Market Table. The Brazilian Cuts package includes six premium cuts of meat and all the trimmings. The team gives a token to flip to signal when they want meat and like clockwork the cuts start arriving thick and fast, carved well in generous portions at the table-side. The picanha (the prime part of the top sirloin), every cut is tender, juicy and flavour-packed.
The Market Table offers a fine feast with cured meats, smoked fish, cheese and salad. Offering a culinary experience, Fogo offers a spread inspired by the grand kitchen tables on the farms of Southern Brazil where family and friends gather to share the finest and freshest from their harvests. The team presents seasonal salads, irresistibly fresh vegetables, imported meats and cheeses, artisan breads and more.
