Expo 2020 opens the World’s Greatest Show that is dedicated to series of programmes, partners, attractions, pavilions, events, news and much more. Treat the kids and visit the place during this spring break. Expo 2020’s official mascots will be out for a stroll, you can capture special moments.
Expo 2020 Dubai has opened an exciting special preview of Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion that will run for a limited time during which families can pay a visit. Until April 10 – EXPO 2020 will host the educational destination features a children’s playground, and a gift shop along with a line-up of live entertainment. Visitors can pick a choice of food from the Terra Café with a number of food trucks, that will offer treats for all.
The pavilion has emotive exploratory experience which includes an interactive walk around the roots of the forest and a journey under the ocean. You can also discover how your actions and choices impact the environment, before being empowered to make positive changes in your everyday lives.
Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion is open between 15:00 and 21:00 from Tuesday to Thursday, and 16:00 to 22:00 on Friday and Saturday until April 10.
You can make pre-bookings for your tickets online and can travel to the site on the Expo Rider, which is a dedicated free bus, which is made available from the Dubai Mall bus station to Expo 2020. The service shuttles every 30 minutes, from 2pm between Tuesday and Thursday and from 15:00 on Friday and Saturday.
Awe-inspiring – Expo 2020 has its ‘Terra’ experience at the Sustainability Pavilion. Opened for Earth Day, Terra is a journey about the story of humankind’s connects with the planet, our impact on it and the changes we must make to save it, and will spur visitors of all ages to take individual action for global good.
Visitors are going to enjoy their time immersed in the beauty of the natural world – watching elephants in the Arabian Peninsula, witness the symbiotic network of roots and fungi that allow trees to communicate in the ‘Wood-Wide-Web’, and share a whale love song as they discover the inhabitants of the ocean’s midnight zone – an areas so deep it has no sunlight.
Terra, which means ‘Home Earth’, brings to life Expo 2020’s commitment to sustainability. Creating small steps to make collective impact, and with Terra’s capacity for 4,400 visitors per hour over 173 days, that could equal millions of changes that help preserve the environment.
