Eataly’s upgraded and improved Dubai Mall restaurant is a must-visit for those seeking honest Italian cuisine. The multipurpose marketplace dedicated to offering diners an authentic Italian experience has re-opened its doors to reveal a brighter, better and elevated setting. Eataly is about eating Italian food and living the Italian way. Its goal is to demonstrate that high-quality Italian food and drink are at hand. Thus, the brand EATALY combines two English words; Eat and Italy.
Moreover, Eataly’s primary goal is to demonstrate that high-quality products can be made available to everyone: easy to find an affordable, but that’s not all. On the other hand, the store’s main floor is part-market and part-food hall. Meanwhile, the outside perimeter of the room stocks displays various food items for purchase, such as pasta, cheeses, cooking appliances, fresh produce, and wines. Inside portion hosts food counters with ready-to-eat fares such as pizza and dessert.
The Story
In 2001, Eataly’s first store was opened in Turin. Its motivation is to introduce a new way of distributing high-quality agricultural products, inspired by leitmotifs such as sustainability, responsibility and sharing. More to say, Eataly’s brand was born by aggregating several small companies operating in the food compartment. It encompasses the famous durum wheat pasta from Gragnano, Piedmont’s egg pasta, mineral water from the Marittime Alps, Veneto and Piedmont’s specialties, Ponente Riviera Ligure oil, Piedmont’s fassone meat, and traditional Italian cheese and cold cuts. Since its first opening, Eataly has offered the best artisan products at reasonable prices by creating a direct relationship between producers and distributors and focusing on sustainability, responsibility and sharing.
The Menu
Eataly’s full-service restaurant, casual-dining space and quick-service counters for those on-the-go, make gourmet Italian fare accessible to everyone for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eataly’s main attractions are its two restaurants – Il Pesce Cucina, which serves seafood dishes, and La Pizza e La Pasta. Diners can enjoy classic pizzas and more, or opt to try pasta at Eataly’s Pasta Fresca Bar, which offers a fresh pasta ‘show’ from in-house pasta masters. La Pizza e La Pasta offers guests inside and outside seating and lengthy antipasti, pizza, and pasta menu. Pasta lovers can choose their favourite from over 120 types of durum wheat pasta. On the other hand, Through Eataly’s cooking school, the brand aims to impart knowledge of Italian culture and cuisine to both adults and kids in an enjoyable setting. Adults can partake in a two-hour learning session and can opt for classes such as Nonna Italiana, Maestro Pizzaiolo, the Best of Italy, Artisan Baker and Ancient Pasticceri. In contrast, kids’ classes include a one-hour session where Eataly’s chefs will offer to teach little ones how to cook in a fun environment.
