Eataly opened their second store in Dubai, the store is nested in Dubai’s Festival City, and overlooks the city’s refreshing waterfront locale. Guests get to enjoy skyline views along while they relish high-quality Italian food and drink.
Eataly’s first site is located in Dubai Mall and more locations are on the way, Eataly Dubai Festival City serves its own exceptional taste of Italy, such as Venchi Gelato. Venchi is one of the premium and oldest chocolates in the world. The company is formerly from Torino, the birthplace of Eataly and home to numerous fine chocolatiers. The Middle East’s first Venchi gelataria has 10 unique flavors, including Cremino, Giandujotto and Azteco. Offering wholesome quality food and genuine Italian ingredients, Eataly Dubai Festival City is operated by the Azadea Group, which owns and operates more than 55 leading international franchise concepts across the Middle East and Africa.

Eataly Dubai Festival City is devoted to bringing foodies of the United Arab Emirates the taste of Italian simplicity. Visitors can visit the store and eat, shop, and learn about Italian cuisine with eight restaurants giving the market offerings. Close to the place where guests dine, the shelves showcase products from across Italy’s 20 regions. After enjoying a mouth-watering dish, guests can shop for the same high-quality ingredients used by our chefs. With recipes and educational free tastings, guests can recreate traditional Italian dishes in their own kitchens.
Italian cuisine uses fresh, wholesome produce, home cooking, regional specialities and the importance of provenance in sourcing ingredients. Eataly, a food emporium combines multiple cooking stations with a cafe and gourmet farmers’ market, clients get to take a little piece of Italy home. With 50 workers in the kitchen along with five key chefs from Italy – Eataly in The Dubai Mall presents a 2,000-square-metre homage to its sister spaces in Italy and New York. The Eataly chain began life in Turin in 2007 and was founded by the electronics entrepreneur Oscar Farinetti, it expanded to 12 outlets across Italy it has been dubbed “the Disney World of foodies”, while Batali calls it a “temple … where food is more sacred than commerce”. The franchise was introduced to the Middle East by Azadea, which runs the Butcher Shop and Grill restaurants and Paul cafes.
Customers are familiar with the concept and have liked a luxury shopping environment that allows one to enjoy products from all over the country in a comfortable atmosphere. Eataly’s motto is “eat, shop, learn” and visitors can relish a rosticceria with pollo arrosto (a roasted half-chicken) and prime rib beef to either buy and take away or eat in store. There are stands for paninis and piadina (traditional, thin flatbread from the Romagna region) stuffed with different fillings, pasta and pizza counters and gelato and coffee stations for everyone to have a gala time.
