Providing best of sports facilities, soft play and summer camps Dubai can now operate, and Dubai Sports World is back for its usual summer season at Dubai World Trade Centre. Sports on offer this year include cricket, football, tennis, padel, basketball, volleyball and badminton. Bookings is a must for all activities much in advance. Entry is free, you just need to pay for your bookings. With five football pitches, three basketball courts, one cricket pitch, two tennis courts, two volleyball courts, one padel court and nine badminton courts – DSW provides an overall work out. Along with a range of kids’ camps and training on offer this summer, from the LaLiga Academy for football to the Professional Sports Academy for badminton.
Dubai World Trade Centre is all set to gear up the heat this summer as it sets up indoor stadiums for Dubai Sports World. Bringing outdoor sports into a 25,000sqm air conditioned space, DWTC will transform in the city’s centre for all things sports. Dubai World Trade Centre has come up with a scheduled plan for all those passionate about sports, Dubai Sports World is a place to belong. For three months, Dubai Sports World showcases the globe’s favorite sports into the emirate’s largest, indoor summer sports venue. Dubai Sports World is set to host numerous academies and sports related games meant for enthusiasts of all ages. These cover from a range of activities, fitness programs and events – all summer long. It doesn’t matter if someone is a recreational athlete, a professional or a spectator, anyone can connect with sports as they like best. Visitors can rent a court or pitch and get their friends and colleagues together for a friendly match. They can join a leading sports academy and brush up their sporting skills. They can bring their club and compete in the ultimate set of matches. The place is open for all those who would like to get fit, play for fun or play to win, Dubai Sports World caters to every level of skill and devotion. Dubai Sports World is organised by Dubai World Trade Centre in association with Dubai Sports Council. Dubai Sports World is pleased to introduce games for people of all age groups, children will be able to participate in fun games and sports challenges like trampolining, football, gymnastics, volleyball, table tennis, dodgeball, yoga, tag rugby, dance and more.
Dubai Sports World 2020 has an exciting line-up of hand picked academy sessions for children of all ages. This year’s Summer Camp programs features a combination of sports, fitness and activity classes managed by Dubai’s leading academies. Offering a safe, indoor environment for children to play their favorite sports and games, get healthy and improve their skills with professional coaches, Summer Camps at Dubai Sports World focus on both fitness and fun.
Both paid and free parking is available at the venue. The multi-storey, covered car park behind Sheikh Rashid Hall is connected to the venue and has 1,385 paid parking spaces. There are many free outdoor parking areas around the venue within walking distance.
Dubai Sports World is back at its regular home of Dubai World Trade Centre, but it’s in a different hall this year. It is located over 15,000 sq m in Za’abeel Halls 4,5 and 6 on Al Mustaqbal Street. There will also be free shuttle buses from the metro. It is open daily from 08:00 until midnight, and bus timings will be 15:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and 08:00 until 23:00 on weekends. There is no free parking this year, but there is parking available. There are strict health and safety measures in place, as well as daily fumigation post closure and dedicated staff to sanitise equipment, while masks and temperature checks are mandatory.
Open daily 08:00 – 24:00. The schedule will go on until October 1.
