The world’s top 8 darts players will be visiting Dubai this year for the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters. The tournament will be held at the Dubai Tennis Stadium on May 23rd and 24th – kickstarting the first leg of the PDC’s World Series of Darts.
This is the first time that a certified darts competition is going to be held in Dubai and the first time that darts will be played in an outdoor arena.
Phil Taylor, the 16-time World Champion, is all set to head the field of eight players who will compete in this sensational event.
The topmost eight world-class players will compete in the two-day event for the grand prize money of USD 2,50,000 in the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters competition.
This sport has an international recognition and adds an advantage to Dubai’s sports activities. In addition, it adds to Dubai’s unique and diverse social fervor.
A preliminary round will be played at the Irish village on the 23rd of May and then the best four will compete in the semi-finals. The final will be a big event on Friday night, May 24th.
One-day tickets for the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters will be sold at Dh199; with early bird season tickets to cover both days at Dh299. VIP tickets (front two rows) will be sold as season tickets at Dh495.
Key players like Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis, James Wade, Michael van Gerwen, Simon Whitlock, Andy Hamilton, Wes Newton and Raymond van Barneveld will be seen competing for USD 2,50,000 prize money.
The Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters will be telecasted live on OSN across the Middle East and in Australia on Fox Sports.
