Chalet 105, at La Cantine du Faubourg, is now offering up a winter experience every night of the week. Visit this chic French restaurant this Christmas for a special wintery night out – as part of the venue has been decked out to look like an authentic chalet.
You can witness a (faux) roaring fire, lots of rugs and a feel of the mountains to get you in the winter Christmas mood. Every night there’s a sharing menu from Dhs350 a head, with lip-smacking traditional dishes – and a lot of cheese.
Sip a 
cup of hot grape to begin with, followed by French onion soup, and a cheese fondue. The sharing dish is also available for two or more, and is accompanied by bread and green salad. You can choose to make it special with black truffle or ceps for Dhs110 and Dhs100 respectively. If you are not a fondue fan then you can opt for raclette instead – soft, melted cheese with green salad, potatoes, pickles and a charcuterie platter. Pick the option of tartiflette with potatoes, reblochon cheese, lardons and onions. Keep some space for chocolate fondue for dessert. They offer a range of winter beverages too starting at Dhs55. You can also hire the same out for family or private functions.
