Carpet & Arts Oasis is a unique annual festival that attracts thousands of tourists and visitors from all around the world to Dubai. 
It offers a treasure trove of quality carpets, with traders from all corners of the world presenting good value on a comprehensive range of floor coverings.
The large floor area of 12,000 square metres is covered and contains more than 100,000 carpets from around the world. The participating countries include Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, and East Europe.
Carpet Oasis also offers a large collection of antique souvenirs.
One of the main event of Dubai Shopping Festival Carpet & Arts Oasis is organized at Dubai Festival City.
This year Oasis features collections of exquisite Persian silk rugs, handcrafted in distinguished rug-making regions in Iran like Qom, Tabriz and Esfahan, as well as the famous Afghan wool carpets.
They also have the striking cashmere carpets and other art items on display by exhibitors from Turkey, India, China, Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
The Oasis 2014 was held under the theme “The Beauty of Spinning Art”, derived from the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy and the fascinating way it blends with oriental carpets to create true pieces of art.
Carpet & Arts Oasis was inaugurated 19 years ago recording visitors to have reached one million, with total sales valued at more than Dh1.6 billion. Over two million carpets were exhibited at the event. The Oasis also showcases some of the valuable and oldest carpets dating back to 150 years.
