Full of excitement, new music and arts festival Breakout DXB has added a second day to the line-up. Breakout DXB, powered by Ariel Pods, is all set to now take place at Rove Downtown on Friday November 6 as well as Saturday November 7 for a two-day festival.
And the organisers have doubled the amount of acts taking to the stage.
Launched by Lobito Brigante and Dan Bolton, Breakout DXB is set to be “an event for the community by the community”, offering support to independent musicians, artists, fans and the industry.
Get set ready for a cool line-up of home-grown talent with names already announced as Layla Kardan, Hamdan Al Abri, Lobito Brigante, Big Hass, and Charl Chaka. Now, joining them will be Fafa, Ghaliaa, Jaymie Deville, Noush Like Sploosh, Arqam Al Abri, Megatronic, Sara G, Dj Burlene, with more names coming soon.
The event will take place both indoors and out, and promises a “festival vibe” but in a safe way. Ticket holders for day one will be able to get into day two on the same ticket. Tickets cost Dhs249 including a drink and food. Along with live music, Breakout DXB is all set to feature visual art installations, exclusive film screenings, gaming competitions, and other immersive experiences, along with tasty food pop-ups and market stalls. There will also be a retro video game competition on a cinema screen.
There will also be Rove Food Truck, with exclusive new Monster Burgers from TGI Fridays for the event. There are also be talks about the music industry from Emirates Music Summit.
“Breakout DXB is our blueprint to support artists, musicians and creatives and to run live events safely,” said Lobito Brigante, co-organiser of Breakout DXB.
“On top of the music and art, you will find all the food and drink experiences you would expect as well as a full day and night of entertainment all run safely and adhering to the government guidelines. We are all responsible for our safety and to keep art and culture alive.”
Catering to people looking for starting bright and early, The Daily at Rove Downtown Dubai stays open until late night.
