Bice Mare is a family restaurant (pronounced “bee-che”) founded in the 1920s in Milan. The restaurant was a hit for great Italian actresses like Sophia Loren and Claudia Cardinale in the ’60s and ’70s. This was at a time the Milan branch was the only one in the world. The same signature gourmet dishes are served in its offshoot in Dubai which made it popular to many.
Bice Mare has beautiful interiors composed of a mirror, stainless steel and crisp white tables, splashes of cobalt, and glinting grape glasses.

Let talented Italian Chef Leonardo Maltese, with his team, take you to Italy’s every corner of Italy through their food. Bice Mare has good style and flavors. Its menu offers a contemporary dining experience. Shellfish starters are fresh and meaty, as well as fish fillets such as the turbot. Bice Mare’s specialty is seafood. The fettucine cacio e pepe, is worth trying. It features fresh and delicious homemade pasta. One can begin with Cappesante Grigliate Con Asparagi a Vapore e Tartufo Nero – fresh scallops lightly grilled served with steamed baby asparagus, black truffle and béarnaise sauce or Caprese Con Pomodori Cuore, that has buffalo mozzarella lined up with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. The chef’s special Risotto al Tartufo Invernal, risotto cooked al dente and tossed in a cheese wheel topped with aromatic black truffle is also a must-try! Food is enjoyable in Bice Mare and service is good and attentive.
