Beluga belugais proud to be the only dedicated caviar restaurant in Dubai and located in the new Mandarin Oriental Jumeira. The bar and lounge now has launched one of the most expensive dishes in the world – the 24-karat “Golden Cigar” made with Almas caviar.

It is known that 250 grams of Almas caviar (which is the most expensive in the world) costs Dhs36,000 at Beluga. But those who desire to satisfy their caviar cravings can try the “Golden Cigar” dish for mere (cough) Dhs1,500. The caviar is placed nestled in an edible tube. Their menu also has Angus beef tartare with beluga caviar, warm scallop carpaccio, eggs benedict with salmon and caviar and even smoked sturgeon gold maki with American caviar. Those now  big fan of caviar can also visit Tasca from acclaimed chef José Avillez and Japanese steakhous Netsu.

Both hotels are being developed in collaboration with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, the international hotel investment and management group. Amsterdam-based UN Studio is the appointed architect of the 300-metre-high building, wasl Tower, which has been designed as an integrated urban environment that promotes connectivity and sustainability. A new luxury Madarin Oriental resort  features 12 overwater villas and a series of infinity pools that flow to Jumeirah Beach. The unique concept of water is intrinsic to the hotel’s design, which was conceptualised by Kuala Lumpur-based design firm DesignWilkes. mandarinThe project will feature a series of beautiful infinity pools that will organically flow down towards the beach. The Mandarin Oriental Dubai features nine restaurants and bars, including a fine dining destination set on a pier with a dock to allow for private yachts to moor outside. A second pier will station a sunset bar, and a Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop, casual poolside eatery and lobby lounge. Both hotels are owned and developed by wasl Asset Management Group.
