Merging the artistry and sophistication of Italian cuisine with an elegant and alluring atmosphere, Belcanto, which translates from Italian to ‘beautiful song’, offers an experience of a lifetime orchestrated by a talented restaurant team. Belcanto, an exquisite new venue, invites residents of Dubai to indulge in a unique dining experience with an Italian touch atop the Dubai Opera rooftop.
By completely covering the restaurant from Dubai Opera’s halls, the design by acclaimed Paul Bishop allows Belcanto to 
create a new world within Dubai Opera. Every corner holds new eye-catching details to discover and engage the senses, with quintessential European styling, aesthetics, and bespoke elements that build on the restaurant’s unique dining and European flair. The interior speaks of pure elegance with monochromatic palettes including wood teases, crushed emerald greens, blood red cordovan hues, heavy velvets, printed filigree fret-cut leathers and striking crystal chandeliers and dramatic pillars that reminds a time and place of a classic opera space.
Diners are invited to embrace a menu orchestrated by Brand Chef Giacomo Lombardi, who brings a unique combination of tradition and innovation to his role, with dishes representing ultra-modern and classic Italian flavours. It includes Panzanella salad with vegetables and crispy bread, Beef ham, goose salami, goose smoked breast, Tomato, buffalo mozzarella, wagyu beef, foie gras, black truffle, and rocket salad. Another highlight of the Belcanto experience is the bar, led by Mikhail Melnik, award-winning Head Bartender from The 
World’s 50 Best Bars for five consecutive years. Belcanto’s intriguing menu complements its cuisine with complex and elevated libations, including the signature Creole swizzle and Milk basil smash. Music, art and fashion, combined with artistic projections on the grandeur walls, altogether uplift Belcanto’s timeless Italian setting and multi-sensory concept whilst staying true to the feelings of refinement and exclusivity.
