The 
Spanish restaurant is all set to feature delightful traditional dishes.
The brand-new Spanish restaurant – Asador de Aranda has now opened its doors at Address Downtown Dubai.
Serving classic Spanish cuisine, the restaurant is from Castilla y Leon in the heart of Spain, and started up in 1983. It’s famous in its home country, with restaurants in Barcelona, Madrid and Seville among others, and now it’s opened its first UAE restaurant.
Asador means ‘roasting restaurant,’ so the menu has dishes include Castilian starters, and torta de Aranda – a fluffy bread made of olive oil and wheat flour. Roasted suckling lamb leg is cooked in wood-fired clay ovens, sourced from churra sheep – a breed specific to the Castilla region in Spain. The lamb is cooked using techniques dating back to 4,000BC.
There 
are a number of meaty dishes on the menu, right from ribs to grilled steaks, lamb chops, kidneys and more. But there are also vegetable options to check out too – from gazpacho to vegetable stew and roasted red peppers, as well as seafood dishes and paella. Desserts include rosquillas – traditional small sweet pastries, plus plenty of Spanish mixed drinks.
Interiors are traditional Castilian with rustic white oak flooring and also chic wood panelled tables. The space is stunning with chandeliers and marble counters. There’s also an outdoor terrace on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard.
The flagship 
of the UAE STK family, STK Downtown is all set to overlook the famed Dubai Fountains and glittering Burj Khalifa, spanning across the ground floor level of the hotel and featuring a sprawling New York rooftop garden-esque terrace. Nasdaq-listed The One Group Hospitality have decided to introduce the restaurant brand to multiple locations across the Middle East, starting with the UAE. An STK restaurant at The Address Downtown Dubai Hotel, with another at the Rixos Hotel in Dubai Marina is in the pipeline. A third restaurant is going to be open in Abu Dhabi following a licensing agreement with Horizon Hospitality, the company said in a filing. A number of locations are being considered.
“Dubai and Abu Dhabi represent some of the fastest-growing leisure destinations, featuring the finest hospitality, fashion and lifestyle brands in the Middle East,” said Jonathan Segal, the chief executive of The One Group. “We have eyed this market for quite a while, but waited to find the right partner for our brand.”
