Proposing best of activities for children to get all ready for back-to-school season in style, Armani Junior and Marimekko workshops have begun. Presenting a unique programme as part of Kids Fashion Fest at The Dubai Mall, little shoppers got to engage themselves in hours of fun and creativity with new friends.
At the Marimekko workshop, potential designers were excited at being given the chance to create and design stylish tote bags of their own featuring stunning Marimekko patterns and materials.
Parents were amazed with their fabulous fashion instincts, little children walked away in style displaying their exceptional arm candy across the shopping destination.
At the Armani Junior workshop, children were thrilled to be in a fantasy world of magical stories with an interactive storytelling session that transformed their trip to The Dubai Mall into a remarkable experience. Before leaving the store, little visitors also got an opportunity to participate in thrilling arts and crafts activities including face painting, and also took home colourful balloons as giveaways.
In addition the “Hairstyling for Teenagers” workshop, the “Make your own Perfume” workshop is very popular that is set up opposite Galeries Lafayette store. With a huge number of children present everyone got a chance to create their own fragrances and took them as special souvenirs of Dubai Summer Surprises celebrations.
Kids Fashion Fest, organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). The highly successful line-up of fashion shows as well as workshops and activities that drew numerous visitors and their families to The Dubai Mall during the 18th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS).
Participating brands includes Bloomingdale’s – Dubai – Magnolia Bakery, Armani Junior, Galeries Lafayette, Gingersnaps, Petit Bateau, Sacoor Kids, Marimekko, Reebok and ghd – good hair day, every day.
