Ain Dubai is Set to Reopen in time for Eid Celebrations in May 2022

Ain Dubai, the world’s largest and tallest observation wheel, temporarily bid goodbye to the public last March 2022. The shutdown was tagged as a periodic enhancement and will reopen after Ramadan. Yes, you read it right. This fantastic attraction will welcome guests and patrons again in May 2022 as the world celebrates Eid al-Fitr.

Ain Dubai has become an iconic landmark of Dubai Skyline since its opening in October 2021. Set your eyes as you will experience a never-seen-before view of a 250m high skyline. You will see the Bluewaters to Dubai Marina and JBR, across to Burj Al Arab Jumeriah and the Burj Khalifa, including the Arabian Gulf.

Unparalleled Attraction

This marvellous engineering is 82 m taller than the High Roller in Las Vegas. Made of 11,200 tonnes of steel, that’s 33 percent more than the amount of iron used to construct another world-famous landmark in Europe, the Eiffel Tower.

The maximum capacity of each fully air-conditioned cabin is 40 guests, and It can carry a total of 1,750 guests at a time, but due to the pandemic, it was reduced to 10-12 guests per cabin.

Restrictions

The giant attraction doesn’t require any age restrictions. However, guests’ health and safety are always the main priority. Operations suspend under certain weather conditions such as sandstorms and rain. Heavy wind or for some technical malfunction.

Safety Protocols

Still a part of health and safety protocols, masks are required for all the guests throughout the Ain Dubai experience. You have nothing to worry about sanitation because each cabin will be clean thoroughly before operating.

 

Each cabin contains an intercom, fire sensors, and CCTV cameras to ensure all passengers’ safety. Safety equipment, rescue tools, fire extinguishers, and a defibrillator unit are also found in each cabin. Please make sure that you use the toilet before boarding because there is no such facility inside it, and Ain Dubai wants you to be happy and comfortable during the whole 38-minute rotation.

A month from now, Ain Dubai will be open to the public. This iconic landmark will definitely attract more tourists and local patrons as Ramdam commences.
