A ahdaafmassive 73,000 sq ft complex area AHDAAF is all set to provide facility if two football pitches and batting nets. As we are moving towards the end of summer, the mercury is beginning to drop down a bit.

People can get ready to visit the great outdoors for exercise. There’s a brand-new football and cricket facility that’s launched in Dubai, and it has sports enthusiasts all excited about the upcoming events.

“Ahdaaf is an exciting addition to this world-famous shopping and entertainment hub, and is sure to be a winner with residents and businesses in the surrounding communities and beyond,” said Omar Khoory, Managing Director at Nakheel Malls.

Ahdaafahdaaf (translates to “goals” from Arabic), has opened on the roof of Dragon Mart 2 next door to International City. The place is promising a 73,000 sq ft complex that will be open all day until midnight in the winter season, with floodlights allowing to keep the facility all open after dark. There are two seven-a-side astroturf football pitches, and two cricket batting nets so everyone can capitalise on the great weather.

If you’re a fan of working out in the great outdoors, check out the return of Tough Mudder, which is back in Dubai in November.

AHDAAF FOOTBALL ACADEMY (Ahdaaf) is a family based organisation which is dedicated to developing youth players from grassroots to a professional standard taking a holistic approach. The Principle and philosophy is an important factor the team believes in focusing on from youngest age group (Under 6s) to our senior group (under 16s). ahdaafAhdaaf focuses on these principles which takes care of the different generations they have built. Three packages of 3 months each are conducted consecutively during Dubai school terms each year catering to all age groups starting from grass roots. Various competitive matches are scheduled against opposing teams and academies to expose the students to different styles of football. Along with it, it creates confidence, based on different game scenarios and awareness on how a professional footballer should conduct themselves.

The team takes pride in offering a club as a family who is consistently learning and moving forward together. Their director Omar Al-Duri has been in the industry for over a decade and has dealt with professional footballers and international teams throughout his career. His approach to learning and continuously inheriting different methods keep the club continuously evolving. This approach is shared by the coaches which is infectious to the aspiring players involved
