The fusion of European and Japanese styles in pastries comes from Paris. The Japanese chefs merge their elaborate baking skills and fine taste with the very urbane French arrangement. With this the first of the Japanese pastry shops were originated in the world. The taste swept away people in New York and London and in many cities across the globe. Yamanote has created a niche for itself among the high fashion brands, which are already established in the UAE, in no time Dubai become a culinary trendsetter with this unique restaurant and bakery.
Designed to appeal to people with a taste for the finer things in life, Yamanote presents a selection of scrumptiously delicate cakes. Japanese pastry is in vogue and this bakery serves Japanese taste that is very delicate; their style is much lighter in weight and taste. Yamanote is the pioneering bakery shop in Dubai that produces and serves a number of European bread, pastries, cakes, croissant, sandwiches and sweet bakery items with a Japanese touch, all created from scratch on-site. Preserving the purity and authenticity of the Japanese culinary culture, every item at Yamanote is created from high quality and seasonal ingredients; six different types of flour are exclusively imported from Japan. Just like it is a tradition followed in Japan, customers can fill up their trays with the items on display before handing them over to a assistant who can plate it or wrap it in customized, branded boxes to take home. The selection of bakery items are renewed on a regular basis and also the team of bakers.
The authenticity and genuineness of the concept makes Yamanote Atelier different from other patisseries or bakery shops. Their Master Baker, Kuni Maeda, creates magic with his hands that create the authentic Japanese delicacies on display at Yamanote Atelier. The restaurant and bakery appeals to all and people come visiting in groups, families spend time bonding, birthday parties and even corporate lunches are popular with Yamanote Atelier. The restaurant offers a dedicated personalized service and can delivers exquisite food at any door step. Each menu is custom-made to cater to all specific preferences.
The Al Wasl Square store of Yamanote Atelier is elegantly designed, with glass panes allowing natural light to make the place look spacious and welcoming. The centre of the restaurant is a rustic display of freshly baked buns, pastries and breads in wicker baskets. The buns on offer range from fried doughnuts stuffed with beef curry and coated in panko crumb, to sweet flavours of croissants. Biscuit dough is used to decorate Kitty and Totoro, and chocolate piping makes fine details of the faces and whiskers.
