Dubai Creek Park
The name was derived from the location of the park on the bank of
Dubai Creek.
Reflects a green colour, the park creating
a splendid harmony with the blue water of the creek, the clear sky
of Dubai and the greenery of the Creek Club known for its deep-rooted
sails in the sea of history. All these features amalgamate gradually
with the high buildings that distinguish the palpitating heart of
the bustling city center.
Dubai Creek Park, occupying more than
96 hectare, and is considered the second largest park in Dubai following
Mushrif Park. Nevertheless, it is recognized by its modern equipment
and is distinctive due to its strategic location in the heart of
the City.

Recreational Areas
A small 18-hole Mini golf course is available in Dubai Creek Park
for the fans of this game, which is attracting many of Dubai residents.
Five shady places for the children's games have been set, as well
as an amphi-theater equipped to accommodate 1200 people and to host
public events and performances.

Restaurants
In addition to the main restaurant, many small snackhouses are set
along the park, by the creek, over a length of 2.6 km, offering
refreshments and light meals to visitors during official working
hours.
The Boats and Park Entrances
Five gates are distributed along the Creek Park, three of which
are on the main street and the other two, on both sides of Al Maktoum
and Al Garhood bridges. Four berths to host boats arriving from
Deira and Dubai are available, enabling visitors to reach the park
by a touring boat.
The Green Area
The park is designed in a modern style, combining both architectural
and natural designs. It includes new kinds of plants cultivated
for the first time in the United Arab Emirates. It also constitutes
a technical reference for the students interested in landscaping
parks organization. The park comprises 280 kinds of trees and flowers
planted for the first time in addition to green lawns covering around
39 hectares of the park's total area.
Flowers and Gardens
Within the sides of this area, a running stream flows amongst various
trees through escalating curves and slopes. In addition to the rocky
garden, flower beds, green lawns, fountains, fixed games and sundial
model. Trees are floodlit, thus, showing the terrain of the area
and creating a splendid night view.
Ditch Irrigation Area
The area close to Al Garhood Bridge was designated for the cultivation
of palm trees and is irrigated through ditches. This irrigation
method was applied in the past and it's still used in some parts
of the U.A.E. 
The Green Area
Since the establishment of Mushrif Park until today, the Municipality
had never neglected planting and greening it. Besides the 42500
square meters green lawns, different kinds of trees, bushes, flower
beds and decorative plants were planted around the park. It includes
29194 trees and bushes; in addition to the pre-existing palm region
consisting of 1200 palm trees, yielding yearly the best quality
dates, another vast areas have been designated for the expansion
of green lawns.

Dubai Creek Park, occupying more than
96 hectare large, costing more than 106 million Dirhams, is considered
the second largest park in Dubai following Mushrif Park. Nevertheless,
it is recognized by its modern equipment and is distinctive due
to its strategic location in the heart of the City and it was opened
in 1994. The park includes many unique recreational areas, and has
three helicopter landing pads, a first aid room, a communication
center and water coolers.
